Three days live:

Feature-packed programme for professional photographers and content creators

October 14-16, 2022

The Creative Content Conference is the leading conference for professional photographers and content creators in Germany and presents current trends in professional photo and video production. Look forward to professionals from the creative industry, experienced photographers and gallery owners as well as multi-media content producers who will impart valuable knowledge on the most important image trends. Best practice stories will be complemented by lectures and discussions with renowned experts. The event is supported by Canon, Adobe, Fujifilm, Leica, Nikon, Sony, Tamron and WhiteWall, among others.

True to the motto "from practice, for practice", each of the three conference days will have a thematic focus:

  • Friday, 10/14/2022: Wedding & Portrait
  • Saturday, 10/15/2022: Editorial & Documentary
  • Sunday, 10/16/2022: Commercial & Lifestyle

The programme on Friday is aimed at wedding and portrait photographers. Under the patronage of the bundes professioneller portraitfotografen (bpp), the professional initiative for professional portrait and people photography, best practice stories from successful professionals such as Julia & Gil and Kerstin & Paul Rockstein will be presented along with many ideas for your own photography business. The bpp industry talk will show where portrait and wedding photography is heading and which image trends will inspire tomorrow's customers.

On Saturday, experienced photojournalists and documentary photographers will report on their work. Ksenia Kuleshova, Philipp Reinhard, David Klammer and Marvin Ronsdorf are among the participants.  Software specialist Adobe will provide insights into how image manipulation and deep fakes can be unmasked with the help of artificial intelligence. The topic "NFT - Hype or Hope?", which is particularly interesting for photographers working in the field of art, is also on the agenda. Moderated by the Female Photo Club, a discussion panel in the afternoon will also address the topic of parenthood and self-employment in professional photography.

Sunday is all about commercial and lifestyle advertising photography. Alongside internationally successful fashion and advertising photographers such as Joachim Baldauf, Richard Walch, Bob Sala and Christian von Alvensleben, there will be several rounds of talks on current topics and trends in commercial contract photography. The programme is under the patronage of the professional association of freelance photographers and film designers (Berufsverband Freier Fotografen und Filmgestalter e. V. - BFF e. V.) and is actively co-organised by the BFF Academy, which covers the entire range of topics in professional photography with its speakers. It has set itself the task of establishing a top-class further education network for professional photographers in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

The best-practice stories will be complemented by specialist lectures and discussion panels with renowned experts. Among others, photographer consultant Silke Güldner and specialist lawyer Sebastian Deubelli will talk about topics relevant to professional photographers, such as setting fees and dealing with copyright infringements. In addition, there will be talk rounds with Mr. ProfiFoto Thomas Gerwers.

The Creative Content Conference is aimed at both experienced photographers and visual storytellers as well as those who want to become one. The lectures and discussions offer creative inspiration, technical know-how and concrete tips for a successful career as a picture maker.
