FAQ for Exhibitors

Hamburg Messe und Congress will not be continuing the PHOTOPIA Hamburg imaging festival in its current form. As a trade fair organiser, we set out to create a globally unique, inspiring festival experience for the imaging community - and we succeeded. However, in an overall difficult market environment, it will not be possible to hold the event economically in future. Hamburg Messe und Congress has therefore decided to cancel the event in order to give everyone involved the greatest possible planning security at an early stage.

We very much regret that PHOTOPIA Hamburg, in which we, our exhibitors and partners have invested a great deal of energy, work and passion, cannot be continued in the future.

However, representatives of the imaging industry will still have the opportunity to present themselves in Hamburg. There will be space for this in the "Content Creator World" as part of the Polaris Convention, which will be held at Hamburg Messe und Congress from 11 to 13 October 2024.
 

1. What does this mean for registered exhibitors?

Due to the cancellation of PHOTOPIA, all booked stand spaces will be cancelled free of charge. As invoices have not yet been sent out, no refunds will have to be made.
 

2. What does this mean for companies that have already cancelled their participation?

As the event has been cancelled by Hamburg Messe und Congress and no exhibitors have yet been admitted, no cancellation fees will be charged.
 

3. What about flights, train tickets and hotels that have already been booked?

Hamburg Messe und Congress cannot provide any information about contracts with third parties. Please contact your contractual partner company directly.
 

4. What alternative does Hamburg Messe und Congress offer imaging companies?

Representatives of the imaging industry will continue to have the opportunity to present themselves in Hamburg. There will be space for this in the "Content Creator World" as part of the Polaris Convention, which will be held at Hamburg Messe und Congress from 11 to 13 October 2024.
