We are delighted that Messe Hamburg is providing a new, innovative platform for digital imaging with PHOTOPIA. With its mix of community festival, touch and try opportunities, photo workshops and walks, as well as lectures by renowned photographers, this multi-channel event captures the current zeitgeist of modern event concepts. It provides us with the perfect setting to present our extensive product portfolio and our vision for imaging of the future. Visitors will be able to experience Canon's full range of products at our booth - from our SLR and mirrorless cameras, our wide range of lenses to small and large format (photo) printing. We look forward to creative and personal exchanges with the community and to sharing a glimpse into the future with all imaging enthusiasts.

RAINER FÜHRES,
Senior Managing Director & CEO - Canon Deutschland

PHOTOPIA Hamburg is an exciting new trade show/event concept for the digital imaging industry. The platform gives Sony the opportunity to present our new products of this year on site and to experience the creative possibilities. That's why we will be there and hope to see many active visitors!

THILO RÖHRIG,
Commercial Director, Sony Germany

Even though digital event formats have proven to be very successful due to the COVID-19 pandemic, physical photo and imaging industry events such as PHOTOPIA naturally create a different brand proximity for photo fans. Only at in-person events can product be felt in one's hand and their quality thus made tangible. Another important aspect is, of course, the interpersonal component. Technical discussions among photo fans or with representatives of their favorite brand simply promise a different depth and convey a stronger sense of community. Events like PHOTOPIA are still simply important platforms for professional and amateur photographers to talk to like-minded people and exchange ideas.

Manager Events & Trade Marketing, Nikon Germany

The photography industry needs highlight events in 2021 as much as in hardly any year before. At the same time, we miss the personal interaction with industry representatives and photo enthusiasts about our LUMIX cameras, but also about the topics that motivate the photography scene. That's why we are, of course, as passionate as ever about PHOTOPIA and want to help more than ever to bring the photo community together in the beautiful city of Hamburg.

MICHAEL LANGBEHN,
Head of PR / Media / Sponsoring Consumer Electronics, Panasonic

We are looking forward to an interesting fair with an innovative concept, which particularly focuses on enthusiasm for photography.

Robert Kruppa,
General Manager SIGMA

Not only in the photography industry has a lot happened in the last two years. Besides the Corona pandemic, which has affected the entire industry in general and each of us in particular, in 2020 we also had to say goodbye to photokina, formerly the world's largest leading trade fair for photography, after 70 years. But Franz Kafka already said "New directions are only created by going down them" - This attitude is not only reflected in our new slogan "Focus on the Future", but is also evident in the innovative and consistent further development of events like Photopia. We are very happy to finally be able to welcome our customers in person at our new stand after far too long. In addition to lots of information about new products and exciting insights into photography, there will, of course, once again be the opportunity to test and try out all our lenses. We are looking forward to numerous visitors and many interesting conversations.

SVEN DIEGEL,
Marketing Manager, Tamron Europe GmbH

For us, #shareyourvision - the motto of PHOTOPIA Hamburg - also includes photo prints that can be experienced haptically. That's why we will be there with our Hahnemühle FineArt and photo papers. We are looking forward to an exciting mix of a trade show and festival.

JAN WÖLFLE,

We are convinced that the innovative event format of PHOTOPIA in the heart of Hamburg will boost the digital imaging market, through the mix of experience, festival character and all the possibilities the B2B approach offers.

GUIDO FORSTHÖVEL,
Head of B2C, BenQ Deutschland GmbH

As a Hamburg-based company in the photography industry, we are of course particularly pleased that what is now probably the most important trade fair in the world of photography is being held in our home city. Hamburg is an absolute stronghold of photography in Germany and Europe. Through large publishing houses, such as G&J with the STERN, the ZEIT, the SPIEGEL, great photographers have always shaped this city. With the Deichtorhallen Hamburg and the huge photography collection of FC Gundlach, the importance of Hamburg as the most important city for photography in Germany is underpinned. In addition to very many, very influential photographers, many companies from the imaging sector are also based in Hamburg. All these aspects and of course the extremely high attractiveness of the city create the best conditions for a top-class trade fair around the versatile topic of imaging. We are looking forward to the fair and visitors.

Managing Director, HAPA Team Handelsgesellschaft mbH

Photopia in Hamburg, the location of our Calumet headquarters. When a big photo event starts here, we are of course particularly pleased! And of course Calumet simply belongs to the scene of photographers and videographers.

RICHARD GLATZEL,

Why do we participate? ...because we are not just the contact for everything to do with photography in everyday life, but are naturally also in the middle of the action where passionate photo enthusiasts and the world's biggest photo brands meet. We are convinced that the new festival & trade fair concept of Photopia in Hamburg will bring all this together in one place. Together we will make the heart of photography beat faster.

ANABEL ERHARDT,

I'm thoroughly delighted that Hamburg is getting one more contemporary photo trade fair after the Photokina in Cologne got a bit long in the tooth. The photogenic Elbe metropolis and media city is just the right location for a photo event with new ideas, exhibitions, photo walks and workshops.

SVEN STEMANN,
Managing Director, IPS. Photo Trade

Why are we involved?! X Because it is important?!X Why is it important?!X Because we have been part of the image-creating culture with pleasure and with great commitment since 1961. PHOTOPIA 2021 gives us the space and the opportunity to exchange ideas again, to learn and to show that we feel at home in the joy of image making with our lighting systems.

ROMAN HOFFMANN,
Dedo Weigert Film GmbH

We're participating in PHOTOPIA Hamburg because the concept of a festival, classic trade fair, event and the many great new ideas developed by the team around PHOTOPIA has created the basis for a new leading trade fair for photography.

AXEL MÜLLER,

Why we are there, in short, is that if we were not there, everyone would ask: "Why aren’t you there?". This means that we and our products simply belong to the scene of photographers, galleries and artists. We pursue not only economic but also cultural interests. In addition, we are a Hamburg company.

HEINER HAUCK,
Heiner Hauck Portfolios

We are participating because we would like to share our enthusiasm for photography and the nonstop joy of high-quality, brilliant photos in a personal exchange with the visitors of PHOTOPIA Hamburg. Therefore, we are looking forward to many interesting conversations with photo retailers, professional photographers and enthusiastic photo amateurs.

It was the iconic photographs of Elliott Landy that created a milestone in pop culture out of the Woodstock Festival. We are proud to support the congenial interaction between music and image together with Photopia.

After a long break, we are especially looking forward to the opportunity to exchange ideas with our customers in person at PHOTOPIA. At last, the haptic sensual experience of photography is possible again: when we present our photo products, the main thing is to be able to really take photo memories in your hands and feel them. We are proud of our CEWE Truck, which makes this possible in a new form at PHOTOPIA. Dear PHOTOPIA, we are very much looking forward to a new and exciting concept. Let's share the enthusiasm for photos with all our fans!
