People and their living space form a core theme of the projects presented. This fits perfectly into the programme of PHOTOPIA City, which is committed to an open and curious view of the diverse experiences in urban space. All visitors to the event "Listen to the Photographs" will not only be offered the experience of an unusual exhibition presentation, but also a lively discourse on the possibilities of artistic photography. Even though photography is omnipresent in our lives, its very own language is not yet anchored in the collective consciousness. The festival with its diverse perspectives on the medium contributes to this.
