Laowa - Compact macro

With the 90mm f/2.8 2X Ultra Macro APO, Laowa presents another 2:1 telephoto macro lens for full-frame mirrorless cameras. It is more compact than many comparable lenses on the market. The 13 lens elements in 10 groups and the apochromatic correction (APO) ensure high imaging performance with the lowest chromatic aberration.

The circular to f/22 closing with 13 aperture blades provides a soft bokeh. The angle of view of the 90mm f/2.8 is 27 degrees. The lens can be focused down to 20.5cm and can also be used for portrait and product photography.
Three aspherical lenses and three ultra-low dispersion lenses reduce chromatic aberration as well as optical distortion and ghosting effects to an absolute minimum. Focusing as well as aperture adjustment are manual. The Laowa 90mm f/2.8 2X Ultra Macro APO is available for 659 euros at well-stocked photo retailers with Sony E, Canon RF, Nikon Z and L-mount connections. Initial shipments will start at the end of June 2022.
